What products can I create on Books Bespoke?
You can create hardback photo books, softcover photo books, A5 magazines (PUR-bound), A5 Activity/Colouring booklets (saddle-stitch), custom jigsaw puzzles (30, 110 or 252 pieces), and personalised playing card decks. You can also download a digital PDF of your books or magazines.
How long does delivery take?
Printed products are delivered in approximately 6–7 working days after your order is placed.
Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes, we deliver to UK, Ireland, US, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Hungary, Romania, Spain, Belgium, France, Italy, Austria, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Bulgaria, Slovakia, Poland. Some products are only available to UK customers – saddle-stitch Activity/Colouring booklets, jigsaws and playing cards. Please contact us if you have a specific requirement.
What are your sustainability commitments?
Products are printed and shipped locally in UK, EU, US, Canada and Australia. Local fulfilment reduces carbon emissions. The paper and wood in our products is sustainably sourced from sustainable forests.
How many photos do I need to make a book?
There is no minimum requirement. You can have one photo per page or upload multiple photos to a page using the multi-photo layout option. You can also have pages which are just text.
What photo formats are supported?
You can upload any image format – the site supports all common image formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC (iPhone photos), GIF, AVIF, BMP. For best print quality, use the highest resolution photos you have.
Can I upload any photo e.g. of celebrities or film characters?
As a custom printing service, we respect intellectual property rights. We strictly prohibit the upload of images that feature celebrities, public figures, professional sports teams, or licensed entertainment properties (including characters, artwork, or scenes from movies, TV shows, video games, and comics, such as Star Wars, Marvel, or Disney). Reproducing these copyrighted assets on commercial products without an official studio licence is illegal. Our team reviews all uploads before production. If your order contains unauthorised characters, celebrity faces, or copyrighted imagery, it will be cancelled and fully refunded. The customer assumes all liability for ensuring they possess the legal right to reproduce the uploaded image.
What are the free tools?
Books Bespoke offers several completely free tools with no account required: a free crossword maker, a free wordsearch generator, a free maze generator, a free football card designer, and a free alphabet soup word scramble generator. Visit our Extras page to try them all. They are totally free and you can use them as many times as you like.
Is the AI colouring page generator free?
You get 2 free colouring page generations. After that you can buy 2 more for 50p. Upload any photo and our AI will instantly generate a black-and-white colouring page version you can download and print.
Is the crossword maker free?
Yes — the crossword maker is completely free. Enter your own words and clues and generate a printable crossword puzzle instantly.
How does the AI photo transformation work?
Upload your photo and choose an art style — watercolour, pencil sketch, cartoon and ink sketch. Our AI transforms your photo into that style. You get 4 free AI transformations when you create an account.
How many free AI transformations do I get?
You get 4 free AI photo transformations when you sign up. After that you need to pay for your book or magazine using 'Buy & Unlock' – you then get 24 more transformations. Additional transformations can be purchased after you've used up the initial 28.
Can I preview my book before ordering?
Yes — you can preview every page of your book in the editor before placing an order.
What jigsaw sizes are available?
We offer three jigsaw sizes: 30 pieces – best for age 4+ (large size pieces), 110 pieces – best for age 6+ (small size pieces), and 252 pieces – best for age 8+ (small size pieces). WARNING: Choking hazard - not suitable for children 3 years of age and under due to small parts.
Can I personalise every card in the playing card deck?
Every card in the deck will have the same individually personalised photo on one side and the suit printed on the reverse. There are 52 cards plus two jokers in a pack.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, our secure payment provider.
Can I buy a gift voucher?
Yes — gift vouchers are available. Visit our gift voucher page to purchase one.
Will my images or data be used to train the AI?
No, your photos and data are never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models. This is guaranteed by the terms of the paid API tier we use. Your images are used by the AI solely to generate the transformed artwork you requested, and are not retained by the AI provider after processing. Your photos are not shared with, viewed by, or accessible to any other users of the AI service.
