1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Books Bespoke ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Books Bespoke allows users to upload personal photographs, apply AI-powered artistic transformations, and arrange them into custom printed storybooks. The Service is provided "as is" and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue it at any time.

3. User Content & Photo Uploads

You retain full ownership of any photographs you upload. By uploading content, you grant Books Bespoke a limited, non-exclusive licence to process and transform your photos solely for the purpose of delivering the Service. We will not sell, share, or use your photos for any purpose beyond fulfilling your order.

4. Photo Retention & Deletion

After your book purchase is completed and dispatched, your uploaded photos are retained on our servers for 30 days. This allows you to reorder, make adjustments, or create additional books using the same photos.

Immediate deletion: You may request that your photos are deleted immediately after your book has been dispatched by using the "Delete" option in your My Projects dashboard.
Permanent deletion: Once the 30 day retention period expires, your photos will be permanently and irrecoverably deleted from our servers.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. You must own or have permission to use all photos you upload. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All Books Bespoke branding, design, and technology (excluding user-uploaded content) are the property of Books Bespoke. The AI-generated transformations of your photos are provided for your personal use as part of the storybook product.

7. Copyright, Celebrity, & Character Imagery Policy

As a custom printing service, we respect intellectual property rights. We strictly prohibit the upload of images that feature celebrities, public figures, professional sports teams, or licensed entertainment properties (including characters, artwork, or scenes from movies, TV shows, video games, and comics, such as Star Wars, Marvel, or Disney).

Reproducing these copyrighted assets on commercial products without an official studio licence is illegal. Our team reviews all uploads before production. If your order contains unauthorised characters, celebrity faces, or copyrighted imagery, it will be cancelled and fully refunded. The customer assumes all liability for ensuring they possess the legal right to reproduce the uploaded image.

8. Limitation of Liability

Books Bespoke is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy of AI transformations or the availability of the Service. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific order in question.

9. Return Policy

As your book is a bespoke unique product we are unable to offer refunds. Please make sure you click Preview and check you are totally happy with your design before sending to the printer.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
